Three Year Anniversary
Ocean Beach, San Diego, is gearing up for a jubilant affair as California Wild Ales, nestled at the corner of Newport and Cable, prepares to celebrate our third anniversary. Reflecting on three years of crafting exceptional brews and nurturing a vibrant community, the brewery invites our fans to join in the festivities on May 18th.
Since our inception, California Wild Ales has been more than just a brewery; it’s a gathering place, a hub of camaraderie, and has become cornerstone of the Ocean Beach community. As the anniversary approaches, the we looks back on our journey with gratitude and forward with excitement.
The celebration promises a day filled with live music, local culinary delights, special beer releases, and, above all, the warm sense of togetherness that defines the Ocean Beach tasting room. Kicking off the musical extravaganza are the talented performers of the Tecolote Canyon Band (2pm), followed by the infectious energy of Animal Control (5pm), ensuring a lively ambiance throughout the day.
Adding flavor to the festivities, we teamed up with neighboring eatery Dirty Birds Wings to offer a delectable array of wings to accompany their renowned brews. From classic flavors to innovative combinations, there’s something to tantalize every taste bud.
Highlighting the occasion is the unveiling of ours Double Hazy IPA Anniversary Beer, a specially crafted release to commemorate three years of brewing excellence and community spirit.
Giving Back Feels Good
In the spirit of giving back, this year’s anniversary event serves as a fundraiser for mental health awareness and support. Partnering with Campus Awareness Coast 2 Coast, California Wild Ales aims to raise funds to address mental health issues in schools and communities. A portion of the proceeds from the celebration will directly benefit Point Loma High School Mental Health Awareness initiatives, emphasizing the brewery’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond beer.
