Introducing our Sangiovese Wild Ale.
The Nebbiolo grape has a deep color violet color and bold tannins. Despite its tannic structure, this beer’s fruity flavors of tart cherry and red plum are supported by a tea-like flavor. Sangiovese grapes can be herbaceous with more sour tart cherry and mineral flavor. We placed these grapes on our golden ale that aged in oak barrels for 12 months. The beer then undergoes a secondary fermentation on the wine grapes. The wild yeast from the grape skins adds extra funk and flavor. We love our wine grape sours. Once you try them, you will immediately know why.
