About This Grainbakers Class
Dive into the world of artisan bread-making with our unique Grainbakers Class, where you’ll transform fresh, spent grain from a brewer’s day into exquisite bread. This hands-on class not only teaches you the art of baking but also lets you create and take home a piece of your culinary craftsmanship.
Choose Your Bread Recipe
Each participant will have the opportunity to choose and create one of the following artisan bread recipes:
- Rosemary and Sea Salt Artisan Bread
- Dark Chocolate & Cherry Artisan Bread
- Italian Tomato & Herb Artisan Bread
Class Includes
- Bread-and-Butter Sampling: Enjoy a delicious tasting session to kick off the evening.
- Lecture and Hands-On Instruction: Learn the secrets of crafting spent grain baked goods from our expert instructors.
- Recipe and Instruction Guide: Take home detailed recipes and guidelines to recreate your bread.
- Oven-Ready Bread: Prepare one finished item, ready to bake at home.
- Extra Spent Grain: Receive additional spent grain and recipes to continue your bread-making journey.
VIP / FAQ
- Class Duration: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (approximately)
- Bake at Home: You will finish baking your bread in your own oven.

Itinerary
- 5:45 PM: Check-in, sign up for timeslots, and enjoy a bread-and-butter sampling.
- 6:00 – 6:40 PM: All students participate in the main class.
- 6:45 – 7:15 PM: Mixing Group One
- 7:20 – 7:50 PM: Mixing Group Two
Feel free to invite a friend to wait for you while you’re in class. Enjoy dinner together before the class, and they can relax with a pint while you bake.
Important Information
- Comfort: Some portions of the class will require standing. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Non-slip footwear is mandatory in the brewery. Sandals and flip-flops are not permitted.
