I pity da fool…
In 2015, a crack commando unit entered the San Diego beer scene to create barrel-aged sours. These men promptly got to work brewing and escaped to the San Diego underground. Today, still wanted by the SD Brewers Guild they survive as brewers of fortune. If you need a sour beer, if no one else can help, and if you can find them….maybe you can hire The CWA-Team.
We took a golden sour and rested it on a healthy portion of Meyer lemons, Satsuma mandarins, and Bearss lime, before finishing it off with Lady Grey’s Black Tea and Local Honey. The bright almost sweet flavor from the Meyer lemons blends beautifully with the distinctive spicy floral and citrus notes from the tea. The honey adds balance to the beer and leaves you with a sour/sweet finish that begs for another sip. You will think Mr. Tea is right there in the room with you saying…”I pity the fool who doesn’t love this beer”.
