Located just up the 5… we knew we needed to collab with our neighbors View Point Brewing in Del Mar, CA. We had a great time collaborating on three different beers that we affectionately call our … “With a View” series.
Introducing …Apricots with a View.
We began with a golden sour base that we added to select barrels that we sourced from our friends at Viewpoint Brewing. We aged this golden base for 12 months and then rested the beer on fresh Apricots that we sourced in Escondido, CA. Apricots with a View has a light acidity and earthy funk. The sweetness of the apricots adds the right balance to this tart golden base. This is a great beer for the sour fanatic or someone just getting into the style.
